Will RB&E introduce our bridal party at the reception?

Absolutely, we will get the pertinent information from you prior to the wedding to insure we have all of the information we need to introduce your bridal party.

RB&E has a wide variety of songs, but will you learn a song for our wedding?

Sure.  We should be able to learn one song given enough rehearsal time.  Our policy is to have the bride & groom forward the song(s) on a compilation cd.  We will do our best to learn a bridal song (given our abilities and time), however in the improbable situation that we can’t do the song justice we prefer to have the songs on cd.  (See below)

Some brides prefer to have the three wedding dances played on recorded cd’s, do you have a problem with that?

 No, not at all.  We would be happy to play as many recorded songs as you’d like.

Do you D.J. between sets?

No, we’d be happy to play a compilation cd that you make or our own that we have made for weddings.  We have a high energy band and need to take a 15 minute break every hour or so.  They earn their breaks. Once again give us the music on one cd and we’d be happy to let you play whatever you’d like.

How do you decide what music is played at my wedding?

We have a lot of experience playing weddings and parties and we read the audience.  Half of the band members are twenty-five years old or younger, the other half are in their late forties to early fifties, this gives us great diversity.  It is not unusual that we could start out playing tunes like “Unforgettable” and end up playing Sting and Jennifer Lopez.  Often an audience member will call out a tune and they are surprised when we can pull it off…besides we like the challenge!

Do you play during cocktail hour and dinner?

We would be happy to play an additional hour during cocktails if you would like at an additional charge.  We usually do not play during dinner.  Of course, we would be happy to play recorded music during your dinner.

What is your cancellation policy?

In the event that you may have to cancel, you have up to sixty days prior to the booked date before you forfeit your down payment.

How do we book RB&E?

Simple, email grossi@rochester.com or tbruce@rochester.rr.com  or call 585-752-4805 or 585-615-4551 respectively and inquire if we are available.  Once we agree on the engagement we will send you a contract which you will return with a partial down payment to hold the date.  The remainder of the payment is due on the night of our performance.

Can we come and see you play out at clubs before we decide?

Absolutely, we publish our schedule on our web site (www.rbande.com) and we encourage you to check out our competition.  If you would like to visit us at a live event (wedding/bar/concert) let me know and I will put you on our guest list.  We are confident that you will enjoy our show. Please come up to us at our live shows and let us know you are interested in booking us for your reception so that we can answer any questions you may have.
